Trustees of Austin
Animal Trustees of Austin is a tax-exempt, non-profit animal welfare
organization. ATA was founded in May of 1993 by concerned citizens
desiring to help lost, abused and abandoned animals in Austin and surrounding
counties. ATA also offers Low
Cost Spay and Neuter.
Town
Lake Animal Center
Town Lake Animal Center (TLAC) is dedicated
to providing and promoting humane treatment of
animals while protecting the public health by managing
the domestic animal population. The animal center
provides many services, including adoptions, impoundment,
injured and stray animal rescue, pet registry information,
and spay/neuter education.
Austin
Pets Alive!
Austin Pets Alive! is a non-profit volunteer organization started in
November, 1997, to make Austin a "No-Kill" city. APA! introduced the
No-Kill Millennium Resolution, which was adopted by the Austin City Council
and Travis County Commissioners' Court. In a unique partnership with
the Town Lake Animal Center (TLAC), APA! is helping to stop the killing
of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens whose only crime is that
they are homeless.
Taurus
Training and Doggy Play Day
Taurus offers a fun, safe, and positive learning environment for day
care, boarding, and training. While you are at work all day, your dog
might be anxious, lonely or bored. Taurus' Doggy Play Day is daycare
for your pet! Need to run out of town? Taurus will make sure your pup
is comfy as can be while you're away. The folks at Taurus can also help
you with your stubborn friend who just hasn't quite got the hang of this "manners" thing
yet.

A Day Personal Pet Care
Apple A Day Personal Pet Care provides in home
pet care with love and one-on-one attention so
that you can rest assured that your fur-kids are
receiving the best of care. Avoid the emotional
trauma pets may experience when staying in a strange
location and assure that your pets receive personal
attention—exercise, food, fresh water—and
best of all, loving, regular companionship. Apple
A Day also provides dog walking, field trips, house
sitting, and overnight pet care among other services.
SNIP - Spay Neuter Incentive Program
Founded by DogBoy’s Dog
Ranch in 2004, SNIP was born from the desire of founders Bart and Courtney
Emken to do more to encourage spaying and neutering. Now more than 100 members
strong, SNIP is concentrating on encouraging customers to use the incentives
provided by businesses, and inviting landlords and property managers to join.
