Frontline Plus is a topical solution, similar to
Advantage, and kills 98-100% of adult fleas on your
pet within 24 hours. It kills flea eggs and larvae,
as well, and keeps all stages of fleas from developing.
In addition, Frontline Plus kills all stages of 4
major ticks including those that may transmit Lyme
disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever.

IVERHART PLUS

Iverhart Plus is a chewable given once a month
to protect against heartworm disease. It is the generic
equivalent of Heartgard Plus. It also treats and
controls roundworms and hookworms, and is safe for
puppies as young as six weeks. Dogs six months of
age and older should be tested for heartworm disease
prior to being put on a preventive program, and at
least every two years when continuing this program.

SENTINEL

Sentinel is a monthly tablet like Heartgard Plus,
although in addition to preventing heartworm disease
and internal parasites, it also prevents and controls
fleas without leaving a residue on your pet like
Advantage or Frontline. It also treats and controls
roundworms and hookworms, and is safe for puppies
as young as four weeks weighing at least two pounds.
Due to the nature of Sentinel, the company requires
that your pet must be tested for heartworm prior
to using this medicine. If you have proof of a negative
heartworm test less than one year ago, a second test
is not necessary.
